Jeppesen Internet Flight Planner
Check out Jeppesen Internet Flight Planner (JIFP) - the most recent addition to our flight planning lineup. Built on the strong foundation of FliteStar and the overwhelming success of the AOPA Real Time Flight Planner, this new online service provides all the freedom, benefits, and flexibility the internet has to offer. Plus, JIFP is always current so you'll never have to worry about updates.
JIFP provides incredibly accurate flight plans that include:
- "Hot Space" - SUA's active now or in the next 24 hours1
- Graphic, FAA created TFRs1
- Jeppesen NavData
- Numerous built-in high-resolution chart themes
- Detailed airport information
- Jeppesen's exclusive Trip Kit feature
- Airspace, terrain and obstacles
- Text and graphic weather (DUATS)2
- Other critical flight planning information
JIFP is a thin-client program that loads basic flight planning data on to your PC the first time you log on to the service. From then on it's "Connect and Plan." No searching for CDs and no worries about data currency.
JIFP Minimum Computer Requirements:
An IBM compatible PC using a Pentium III (or similar with processor speed of 450MHz or faster), connecting at 56kb or higher. Windows 2000 SP3 or XP SP2 operating system with 128MB system RAM memory, 10MB available hard drive space, and 32MB video card. Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.
