Jeppesen's Airport Qualification and Familiarization Service provides an innovative means of increasing situational awareness and improving safety. Although primarily designed for airline pilots, corporate and general aviation pilots have also found this service to be extremely useful. It presents an actual photograph of the runway environment, graphical presentation of terrain and other obstacles, and pertinent local traffic information. With this information, a pilot develops a good awareness of the airport environment prior to flying the actual approach. This service is available for 10 different areas of the world. (Selected airports only.) (Note: Not available as a one-time purchase. This service must be purchased as a revision service.) Binders sold separately.
Available as an Airport Directory/FAR/AIM Package or available separately.
| FARs for Maintenance Professionals |
In addition to the FARs for pilots, Jeppesen also offers three very popular FAR packages for the Maintenance Professional. Binders sold separately.
The Jeppesen Electronic Airport Directory contains all the information included in the paper version of the Airway Manual and much more.
Jeppesen's JeppGuide is a must for all pilots. This service provides supplemental airport information that is of great benefit to you and your flight. In addition to a highly detailed airport diagram for most airports, JeppGuide also provides FBO, hotel, transportation and other vital information regarding a particular airport. JeppGuide is available in six separate coverage areas and includes three updates during the year. Simply choose the coverage you desire and you're ready to fly.
Jeppesen's European Air Traffic Flow Management guide includes what you need to know about the European "Free Route" concept referred to as "Flexible Use of Airspace". It covers all the automated European Central Flow procedures and "Free Route" potential. When used to its fullest extent it permits a proactive approach to following through on Take-off Slot requests and problems, bypassing ATC bottlenecks, preventing delays and saving flight time operating costs.
